Turkey Trott - results & Latest News

The Turkey Trott was played on 11th December, with 20 players taking part!

The overall winner was:

Michael Dunn, with 39 points

Runner Up:

Nolan Cook, with 38 points

The winner of the lower handicap players (up to 14 handicap) was:

Len Robinson, with 36 points!

Niel Gribbin won the 2's sweep, making the only 2, winning £32!!

The past two weeks have seen some excellent golf being played in the mens monthly medal and the most recent major, Joan Lyons Cup.

Club Championship & CC round-up

Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July.

The Club Championship was played off scratch over two days. With 5 or 6 players all with a realistic chance of winning it was always going to be a close run competition. The first round saw Douglas Howes shot 73 to lead by one stroke from Scott Hudson and Lee Wilson on 74. Steve Bristow was a surprise in 4th place after scoring a very good 79 leaving Greg Griffiths and John Barrett tied for 5th on 80.
