Hebbard Shield played on Saturday 22nd May final standings.
The Hebbard Shield was played in good conditions and the scoring was very low!!
The players who took part in the competition had to score well under their handicap
to feature in the top 3rd of the leader board.
The juniors lead the field taking the top two places on the leader board.
Sam Vidler - Winner (45pts)
Marc Wingrove - Runner Up (41pts)
Len Harvey - 3rd (39pts)
JUNE MONTHLY MEDAL
Golfing conditions were very good for the June Medal, no less than 8 players carded scores of net 69 or less.
Steve Bristow and Alan Swan both felt they had done enough to win on net 65's but were in 3rd and 4th positions. Dan Green shot another great round finishing on net 64, good enough for 2nd place.
Marc Wingrove not only won with a net 63 but also carded the best gross score of 72 beating Simon Griffiths by 4 shots (76).
Marc has now been cut to 7.6, well on his way to his target of 6 by the end of the summer.
QUIZ NIGHT SUCCESS
The Quiz Night run by the Ladies Section was a huge success. The evening was supported by 56 people who all had a good time. The main reason for the evening was to raise funds for the members, the £300 raised is a very well received amount.
