New 2011 Two of our members played in the Ladies 'North Weald Open' recently and finished in second place.
Jan DaCosta and Julia Challis played in the event where as a pair they finished second on 41 points.
This was a fantastic achievement for the pair who had not played North Weald before. The Presentation was carried out by the TV presenter Clare Balding, which was the perfect finishing touch to a great day.
Congratulations to Jan and Julia and good luck in future competitions.
Also in the Ladies Section, Sandra Joannides finished first in the Ladies medal with a net 66. Finishing 2 strokes ahead of Jan DaCosta in second place.
